Perceptive’s ESG Commitment

As a global organization dedicated to improving and saving lives, Perceptive is committed to following an environmental, social, and governance (ESG) framework that ensures our business practices are sustainable and ethical. 

As such, we are taking focused steps to minimize our environmental impact and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within our company and in the communities where we operate.

Following the science

Everything Perceptive does is driven by science. Our approach to our environmental impact is no different.

Carbon reductions

Perceptive has committed to reducing its carbon footprint in line with the 2015 Paris Agreement, which aims to keep global warming below 2°C, while attempting to limit warming to 1.5°C.

Perceptive has committed itself to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and will publicly report our carbon data using the CDP, a leading climate NGO.

Post Calyx’s merger with Invicro in October 2024 we confirmed our commitments to cut our scope 1 & 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions it controls by 35% by 2027.  We will also engage with our suppliers to reduce our scope 3 GHG emissions by 30% by 2032.

Ecovadis

As Calyx and Invicro we had our own Ecovadis scores. In the spring of 2025, we will submit to Ecovadis as Perceptive for the first time.

In the interim both Calyx (as Perceptive Informatics LLC) and Invicro scores from 2023/2024 will remain visible on the Ecovadis platform.

Supplier Diversity

We completed the legacy Calyx survey of suppliers in March 2024.

Against our target of 15% we are tracking 17% of spend with suppliers who define themselves as having diverse ownership.

In early 2025 we will re-run the survey again and include all suppliers from our recent merger.
